About Sarah
Hello! And welcome. My name is Sarah Crabtree.
By day, I’m a Professor of History at San Francisco State University where I teach classes on U.S. history, religious history, women’s history, and maritime history.
Somehow, during so. many. late nights and long weekends, I also became the co-creator of Quaker, Whaler, Traitor, Spy! The Trials of William Rotch. This graphic history tells the story of a Quaker minister accused of treason four times by three different countries in just two tumultuous decades (1775 – 1795).
